Daena has been dancing with Nancy Pattison's Dance World since the age of 4. She began dancing at the Amherstburg studio, and then made her way to the Main Studio, where she took a variety of dance styles. Having completed exams in these genres, she then showed an interest in the teaching side of dance. This will be her 7th year teaching and she enjoys it very much!

Daena holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations from the University of Windsor, as well as a Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Western Ontario in the Junior and Intermediate levels. She took a brief hiatus from teaching dance to pursue her career in teaching in the United Kingdom this past year. She taught a variety of subjects and ages, including two dance placements, and she feels this experience has been enriching and one she will never forget.

Daena looks forward to coming back to Nancy Pattison's this year and she hopes that she can continue to help students reach their full potential as dancers for many years to come!
